Kerala Chief Secretary, Shri V P Joy handing over Padma Shri Award on 24th Dec 2021 to Dr N Chandrasekharan Nair, Eminent Hindi Scholar, Founder and Chairman, Kerala Hindi Sahitya Academy Dr Nair was conferred Padma Shri Award in 2020. Due to Covid the felicitation was delayed and ailing 99 year scholar, Dr Nair could not make it to the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi for receiving the Padma Award directly from the President of India.
